When you request a quote, we share your contact details and project specifications with verified suppliers in our network who can fulfill your requirements. These suppliers may contact you directly to discuss your project and provide quotes.

4.2 With Service Providers

  • Supabase: Database hosting (UK/EU servers)
  • Vercel: Website hosting (London region)
  • Stripe: Payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
  • Retell AI / TTNC: Phone call handling and AI voice services
  • Resend: Transactional emails
  • OpenAI: AI-powered content generation

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

5. Merchant of Record (MoR) Structure

Important: Beffer Ltd is NOT the seller of products or services. We operate as a platform connecting customers with suppliers.

  • The supplier you choose is the Merchant of Record for your transaction
  • Your contract, invoice, and warranty are directly with the supplier
  • Beffer facilitates the connection and payment processing only
  • For disputes, refunds, or warranty claims, contact the supplier directly (we can assist)
  • Suppliers are responsible for product quality, delivery, and customer service

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations:

  • Active enquiries: Retained until completion or closure
  • Transaction records: 7 years (UK tax law requirement)
  • Marketing data: Until you unsubscribe or request deletion
  • Inactive accounts: Deleted after 3 years of inactivity
