Last updated: July 10, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using Beffer ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the service.
2. Definitions
- "Buyer" – A user requesting quotes for products or services
- "Supplier" – A user providing quotes and services
- "Manufacturer" – A user managing product distribution and supplier relationships
- "RFQ" – Request for Quote submitted by a buyer
- "Quote" – A supplier's response to an RFQ
3. Eligibility
To use Beffer, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Represent a legitimate UK business or be a UK resident
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account
4. Account Registration
An account is required only where a dashboard, approval or protected record is needed. You can otherwise send, reply to or forward quote work through approved email and upload routes. When you create an account:
- You're responsible for all activity under your account
- You must provide accurate information
- One account can have multiple roles (buyer, supplier, or both)
- You must not share your magic link with others
5. Commercial Terms
For Suppliers
- The Proof Run lasts 14 days and covers up to 5 genuine RFQs, with no card required at the earliest stage
- A qualified supplier who explicitly chooses to continue after the Proof Run enters exactly 3 introductory months at £250/month; qualification alone never starts a paid service
- Before the introductory period ends, the supplier must select an approved standard tier or the operational entitlement stops safely
- Subscription, usage and service charges are the amounts agreed for your current Beffer package
- No transaction fee, commission or payment deduction applies unless it is stated in a separately approved commercial agreement
For Buyers
- No fees for requesting quotes
- A supplier normally invoices you directly unless a managed-payment route is specifically agreed
6. Payments
Payment responsibility depends on the agreed route:
- By default, the supplier remains responsible for its quote, invoice, payment terms, fulfilment, refunds and warranty
- Beffer does not require Stripe Connect merely to create a profile, assess fit or take part in an approved Proof Run
- If Beffer offers a managed-payment route, its fees, fund flow, approvals and refund responsibilities must be agreed before activation
- Beffer subscriptions are separate from the value of the goods or services quoted by a supplier
7. Supplier Responsibilities
As a supplier, you agree to:
- Provide accurate quotes and timelines
- Respond to RFQs in a timely manner
- Honor accepted quotes
- Maintain professional communication
- Comply with all UK trading laws
8. Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate project requirements
- Pay for accepted quotes promptly
- Communicate professionally with suppliers
- Leave honest reviews after project completion
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
- Use or disclose protected buyer, supplier or case information outside the agreed quote workflow
- Provide false or misleading information
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Upload malicious code or viruses
- Scrape or copy platform data without permission
- Create fake reviews or manipulate ratings
10. Supplier Status and Service Access
Supplier access may depend on:
- Approved sector and coverage fit
- Proof Run, introductory or standard-tier entitlement
- Response times
- Accurate quotes and professional communication
Beffer may pause new introductions when an entitlement expires, payment remains unresolved after an agreed grace period, or policy obligations are not met. Appropriate access to existing records may remain available.
11. Manufacturer Relationships
Manufacturers can establish:
- Exclusive relationships: Only approved suppliers can quote
- Preferred relationships: Supplier gets priority in matching
- Allowed relationships: Supplier can quote but no priority
Disputes about manufacturer relationships must be resolved directly between parties.
12. Intellectual Property
Beffer owns all platform IP, including:
- Platform design, code, and features
- Beffer branding and logos
- Aggregated data and insights
You retain ownership of your content (quotes, RFQs, project specs).
13. Liability & Disclaimers
Beffer operates an assisted quote-desk service. We:
- Do not guarantee quote acceptance or project completion
- Are not responsible for disputes between buyers and suppliers
- Do not verify the quality of work performed
- Provide the service "as is" without warranties
Our maximum liability is limited to the fees you've paid in the last 12 months.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Abuse other users
- Fail to pay agreed subscription, usage or service charges
You can ask us to close your account by contacting support. Dashboard settings may also be available where supported.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
16. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in UK courts.
